Crock Pot Black Eyed Peas and Pork Feet
For 6 Servings
- 2 cups black eyed peas
- 2 pigs feet cut in half
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 hot pepper chopped
- 1 large onion chopped in large chunks
- 10 garlic cloves, chopped, or as many as you want
- 4 Tbsp bacon fat
- Salt and pepper
- Enough water to cover
Crock Pot Black Eyed Peas and Pork Feet Directions
- In a crock pot combine all ingredients. Make sure the water covers the pigs feet and beans entirely.
Cook on low heat setting for 6-8 hours. At 6 hours you can taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
Optional: When done cut up another onion or bunch of green onions and place on top of beans in pot.
