- 1/2 cup Italian style dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons Rondele garlic and herb spreadable cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 (12 oz) packages frozen broccoli and cauliflower mix
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3 teaspoons garlic salt and pepper seasonings (its sold as one seasoning mix)
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
Cheesy Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons of the Rondele cheese, 2 tablespoons melted butter and 1 teaspoon of the Italian seasoning in a small bowl and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add onion and cook and stir until tender, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle in flour, remaining Italian seasoning, garlic salt and pepper mix. Add milk and cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add Ricotta cheese and remaining Rondele. Cook and stir until cheese is melted. Spoon into 2-quart baking dish and add vegetables. Toss gently to coat. Sprinkle top evenly with bread crumb mixture.
- Bake 50 minutes or until heated through and top is browned.
- Enjoy!
- Note: Sprinkle more salt if needed when done.
