- Old Bay seasoning
- cayenne pepper
- flour for coating
- 2 whole red snappers (cleaned, scaled & gutted but kept whole)
Fried Red Snapper Directions
- On the stove, heat enough cooking oil to deep fry fish in a skillet on medium high heat.
Season red snapper, inside and out, with Old Bay and cayenne.
Coat entire fish with flour.
Fry fish in oil once hot. About 10 minutes each side or until fish is flaky.
Drain on paper towel and enjoy!
