- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 (16 oz) box powdered sugar
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tsp vanilla
Butter Cake Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour cake pan or spray with nonstick cooking spray. I used two deep dish aluminum disposable cake pans because I was making the cake to give to a friend. I sprayed these pans with nonstick cooking spray.
- Beat cake mix, one egg, 1 tsp vanilla and melted butter in a large bowl. Spread into prepared cake pan.
- Mix together cream cheese, 1 tsp vanilla, powdered sugar and two eggs. Spread over cake mixture. Bake 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.
