Crock Pot Black Eyed Peas and Pork Feet

Ingredients

For 6 Servings

Recipe

  • 2 cups black eyed peas
  • 2 pigs feet cut in half
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 hot pepper chopped
  • 1 large onion chopped in large chunks
  • 10 garlic cloves, chopped, or as many as you want
  • 4 Tbsp bacon fat
  • Salt and pepper
  • Enough water to cover

Crock Pot Black Eyed Peas and Pork Feet Directions

    In a crock pot combine all ingredients. Make sure the water covers the pigs feet and beans entirely.

    Cook on low heat setting for 6-8 hours. At 6 hours you can taste and adjust seasonings if needed.

    Optional: When done cut up another onion or bunch of green onions and place on top of beans in pot.
