Sautéed Green Beans

- 1 pound fresh green beans, ends clipped/trimmed and cleaned.
- 8-10 slices salt pork, sliced medium thick and cut into small pieces.
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed.
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste.
- 1 small red onion, diced.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Sautéed Green Beans Directions
- In medium skillet on medium high heat, fry salt pork until done but not crispy. About 10 minutes.
When done, add garlic, red pepper flakes and onion to skillet. Sauté for 5 minutes.
Add green beans and mix gently. Fry until beans are done but still crisp. About 10 minutes. Taste and add salt and pepper if needed.
