We love these ribs, which are named after the Buelna family in Oceanside, CA because they shared their family recipe with us for all to enjoy!

Recipe
- 6 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup onion powder
- 1 cup granulated garlic
- 1 cup paprika
- 0.25 cup cayenne pepper
- 0.25 cup black pepper
- 1 cup meat tenderizer
Buelna Barbeque Ribs Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 400°
Pull off fat from one rack of ribs.
Cut a big X on the back of the ribs with a knife.
Place ribs on rack over a pan. Put liquid smoke in the bottom of that pan.
Use about ⅓ cup of this rub per rack of ribs. Save extra in a container and keep in refrigerator.
Put rub on ribs. Cover with foil.
Bake at 400° for 3 hours.
Take out of oven and pour on favorite barbecue sauce.
Put on the grill for about 15-20 minutes each side (until you think the sauce is cooked on).
