- 2 Cups Fresh cherries, pitts removed
- 0.33 Cup Sugar
- 0.33 Cup Red wine
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
Cherry Sauce Directions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat add cherries and sugar. Cook until thickend, about 15 minutes.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and add wine and vanilla. Stir till combined and then cool.
- You can enjoy over meat or dessert. I ate it over grilled lamb leg!
