Peach and Cherry Cobbler
Category:
So delicious! This is a sweet dessert so if it is too sweet for you the first time, just make it again and cut out the brown sugar on the fruit or some of the sugar in the dough. Either way, its perfectly simple and delicious. A go-to dessert that is perfect with ice cream or gelato.
Easy
Ingredients
For 6 Servings
Recipe
- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup fresh peaches, skin removed and sliced
- 1 tablespoon vanilla or almond extract
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 cup bisquick
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
Peach and Cherry Cobbler Directions
- In a bowl add the fruit, brown sugar and extract. Gently mix well. Then set aside for about 30 minutes so the flavors attach a bit.
- Melt butter in a deep dish baking pan/casserole dish. Mix together, milk, sugar and bisquick. Pour mixture into the pan of melted butter. Pour fruit onto the mixture and gently mix a bit. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. I cooked it for 45 minutes exactly and it was a golden brown. Depending on your oven, cook longer or shorter if needed. Should be golden brown and an outter texture like cake (but flat).
- Enjoy!
