My mom (Diane) never used fancy marinades and seasonings...just the regular stuff (seasoned the night before) and her ribs are still the best I have ever tasted. They never needed barbecue sauce either. She seasoned them and slow cooked them on the grill on low all day (no pre baking in the oven). She also basted them every hour with water. It took many hours, but once done these well seasoned, meat falling off the bone ribs were delicious!!!

Ingredients

  • Lawry's Seasoned Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Minced Onions
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Liquid Smoke
  • As many slabs of ribs you want

Dianes' Barbecue Ribs Directions

    Generously season the ribs  the night before and let them sit in the refrigerator covered all night. Next morning, grill them on low, basting every hour or so with seasoned water, over indirect heat until they are done (Pork ribs should not be pink inside) and meat is falling off the bone. Should take about 6-8 hours. Enjoy!
